Walkup Heritage Farm & Gardens specializes in the sale of native plant species, such as prairie and woodland plants, as well as "heirloom" ornamental flowering plants and vegetables.

We offer a dozen varieties of heirloom tomatoes, along with a complete line of garden vegetables all grown from 100 or more year old seed sources not generally available elsewhere. Also for sale are heirloom roses, peonies, annuals, and perennials. All plants and vegetables are raised without the use of chemicals.

The grounds of Walkup Heritage Farm & Gardens have been decorated with examples of various native plant communities, and also feature a Butterfly Garden with heirloom annuals and a Sunken Victorian Garden containing heirloom perennials, as well as an Heirloom Rose Garden, and a Peony Garden with Grandma Walkup's original peonies.
